About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at S C Engineers. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing assigned projects from turnover through construction administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from turnover through construction administration
  • Supervise supporting team members in small to medium-sized projects
  • Perform HVAC and plumbing design
  • Research and identify viable engineering solutions
  • Perform LEED documentation and energy analysis
  • Responsible for selection and sizing of systems and equipment
  • Participate in interviewing, recruiting, and training new personnel
  • Mentor and provide performance review input for personnel
  • Distribute and control the flow of work to the production team
  • Proactively participate in weekly project manager meetings
  • Responsible for client satisfaction for assigned projects
  • Responsible for designing projects within the contractual scope of work
  • Edit company guide specs for assigned projects
  • Develop responses to construction administration inquiries for PIC and PM review
  • Responsible for maintaining and meeting project schedules
  • Maintain project documentation
  • Responsible for project coordination
  • Perform site surveys following each facility's safety guidelines
