Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shift: Full-Time
Working Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Compensation: $17.20 per hour
Note: This position is particularly suited for individuals with documented disabilities or those receiving social security/disability benefits. Candidates with documented disabilities will be given strong consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and replenish restroom facilities, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
- Manage waste disposal by emptying trash and recycling bins, ensuring receptacles are clean and liners are replaced as needed.
- Dust and maintain office spaces, including desks and furniture, while ensuring windows and windowsills are clean.
- Maintain cleanliness in break rooms and other designated areas.
- Safely operate cleaning equipment and tools necessary for the job.
- Foster teamwork by assisting and training fellow staff members.
- Consistently perform duties with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong consideration will be given to candidates with documented disabilities.
- Successful completion of federal and state background checks.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions accurately.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
- Ability to push and pull up to 45 lbs.
