We are working with a small General Contractor based in Newton, MA, who is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Commercial Construction Project Management with a GC, renovation experience, and a proven track record of managing projects from initiation through completion within scope, budget, and timeline.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $140,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, vision (fully covered), dental, and disability insurance, 401k, PTO, sick time, and a vehicle allowance + fuel card.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing multiple construction projects ranging from $500k to $15M+ in value
  • Overseeing all aspects of project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery
  • Directing and mentoring a team of employees, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain effective communication and project alignment
  • Implementing and monitoring quality control and safety standards across all project phases
  • Managing project budgets, costs, and resources to maximize efficiency and profitability
  • Preparing and presenting regular project updates and reports to stakeholders
  • Utilizing Procore to maintain accurate project documentation and progress tracking

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Commercial Construction Project Management with a GC
  • Renovation experience
  • Experience in multifamily, senior housing, daycare or general commercial projects up to $40M
  • Proven track record of managing projects from initiation through completion within scope, budget, and timeline
  • Proficient with Procore
  • Commutable to Metrowest area
  • Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
