Overview: At EMCOR Government Services, we pride ourselves on being a multi-disciplinary organization dedicated to fulfilling our clients' diverse needs. Our field personnel are trained across various trades, including pipefitting, welding, millwrighting, and more. This role primarily focuses on the layout, assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping systems, supports, and associated equipment for various applications, including steam, hot water, and industrial processing.
Key Responsibilities:

- Utilize tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders to cut, thread, and shape pipes according to specifications.
- Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, and fittings by employing welding, brazing, and soldering techniques.
- Install pipes to structures and fixtures using brackets and tools, ensuring secure attachment.
- Conduct inspections and tests on installed systems using pressure gauges and other methods to ensure functionality.
- Measure and mark pipes accurately for cutting and threading.
- Plan and execute pipe system layouts and installations based on detailed specifications.
- Demonstrate additional skills in various crafts to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or GED is required; two years of relevant experience or training is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Reasoning Skills:
Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form. Capable of addressing problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
