Key Responsibilities
  • Preconstruction
    • Participate in site planning, mobilizations, sequencing, and scheduling to ensure a smooth construction process.
    • Assist with site construction and utility providers to ensure timely completion.
    • Collaborate with the Construction Manager to develop and implement the overall construction schedule.
  • Safety
    • Ensure that job safety requirements are understood and implemented by all project personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
    • Strive for a Zero Injury site by identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
    • Assist with mandatory weekly on-site safety meetings and document attendance.
    • Monitor and correct all safety hazards as they occur on the jobsite.
    • Work closely with our 3rd party safety inspector and insurance representative to maintain site best practices regarding safety procedures and OSHA compliance.
  • Construction
    • Understand the subcontractors' scopes of work and ensure they are executed according to plan.
    • Adhere to the overall construction schedule and identify any potential impacts that may cause delays.
    • Inspect materials as they are delivered to ensure they are not damaged or used prior to installation.
    • Verify the piece count of materials and inspect subcontractors' installations to ensure proper functionality.
    • Establish punch list criteria and work closely with the property management representative on close-out procedures.
    • Schedule and procure tools and equipment as necessary for the project.
    • Manage temporary labor and assist with warranty calls after construction is completed.
  • Professional
    • Maintain honesty and integrity in all tasks.
    • Treat all persons on our jobsites with respect and courtesy.
    • Monitor spending and be fiscally responsible.
    • Always be in compliance with all OSHA standards and lead by example.
  • Requirements
    • Wood-framed construction experience.
    • Team player with all field supervision, project management, company administration, and trade partners.
    • OSHA trained.
    • Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under time pressure situations.
    • A self-starter with strong leadership skills and the ability to multitask.
    • Believes in ownership and accountability.
