Commercial Sprinkler System Specialist

In this critical role, you will provide top-notch service to our commercial, industrial, and residential clients by diagnosing and repairing various types of sprinkler systems. This challenging position requires the ability to read blueprints and technical manuals, deliver exceptional customer service, and participate in an on-call rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will conduct thorough service calls, identify equipment/system malfunctions, contact customers to ascertain problems, and perform expert repairs on a variety of sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
- Diagnose and repair various sprinkler systems
- Contact customers to ascertain equipment/systems problems
- Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications
- Familiarize yourself with prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc., to diagnose and repair equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals
- Exhibit effective customer service skills by consistently communicating with district staff and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction
- Electronically complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding and obtain customer's signature
- Participate in scheduled On-call rotations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced individual with at least 5 years of documented experience in the fire sprinkler/suppression industry. The ideal candidate should possess a valid State Fire Protection License and have a strong understanding of blueprint reading, interpretation of technical manuals, and excellent communication skills.
- 5+ years of experience in the fire sprinkler/suppression industry
- Valid State Fire Protection License
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to work in unusual positions and climb ladders up to 40 feet
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and participate in on-call rotations
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service and maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs
- Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures
- Possess a valid driver's license and meet company driving requirements
- Pass a pre-employment background and drug test
Benefits:
