Job Title: Residential Counselor

At MAB Community Services, we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in our cluster homes, promoting their personal growth and community membership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support to participants in cluster homes, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Develop and implement person-centered support plans, working closely with participants, their families, and community professionals.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, cooking, and cleaning, as needed.
  • Facilitate community activities, appointments, and outings, promoting socialization and community integration.
  • Collaborate with the Residential Coordinator and other team members to ensure high-quality care and support.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree and/or related experience preferred.
  • Valid MA driver's license and ability to drive program vehicles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with participants, families, and community professionals.
  • Comfort with computers and ability to learn new reporting software.
Work Schedule:

Variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a focus on providing 24/7 support to our participants.
