- Taking Digital Dental X-Rays: Operate digital dental x-ray equipment, taking high-quality images to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Providing Patient Education: Educate patients on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs, promoting healthy habits and preventing dental problems.
- Collecting and Recording Medical and Dental Histories: Collect and record patients' medical and dental histories, vital signs, and other relevant information to support treatment planning.
- Providing Postoperative Instructions: Provide patients with clear postoperative instructions, ensuring they understand their treatment plan and any necessary follow-up care.
- Maintaining Dental Equipment: Clean and maintain dental equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and meets infection control standards.
- Ordering Dental Supplies: Order dental supplies and maintain inventory, ensuring we have the necessary materials to provide high-quality care.
- Certification or Associate Degree: Possess certification or an associate degree in an accredited dental assistance program (preferred).
- Team Player: Demonstrate a positive attitude and be a team player, willing to learn and adapt to new situations.
- Dental X-Ray Certification: Hold a current dental x-ray certification.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer Skills: Have experience using computers for various tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Professional Appearance and Attitude: Maintain a consistently professional appearance and attitude, reflecting positively on Normandie Dental Clinic.
- CPR Certification: Hold a current CPR certification.
