Job Title: Solid State Technician

Northrop Grumman is seeking a skilled Solid State Technician to join its team of qualified professionals in Linthicum, MD. As a Solid State Technician, you will play a critical role in the development, fabrication, testing, and assembly of semiconductor devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of processes to support the development, fabrication, testing, and assembly of semiconductor devices.
  • Setup, operate, and adjust process and measurement tools to support integrated circuit production and engineering development efforts.
  • Perform process calculations, summarize data, prepare basic reports, and maintain electronic data logs for engineering staff.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and maintain a clean, orderly work area at all times.
Work Environment:

As a Solid State Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced professionals. You will be responsible for working with a variety of process and measurement tools, including chemical mechanical planarization (CMP), chemical vapor deposition (CVD), diffusion, dry etch, implant, metal deposition, photolithography, clean/wet etch, pre-assembly, and metrology/inspection.

Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Associate Degree (minimum of 60 semester hours) or two years (minimum 60 semester hours) of college level study in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study.
  • Candidates may substitute two years of experience working with electronic circuits for every 30 semester hours of college level study.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance.
