Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Custodian Worker to join our team at Immaculate Facility Services. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough cleaning tasks throughout the facility to ensure a pristine environment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the workflow of cleaning staff to enhance productivity and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness by regularly emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Dust and clean various surfaces including furniture, mirrors, walls, and equipment.
  • Occasionally strip, seal, wax, and buff floors using appropriate machinery.
  • Ensure break room areas and restrooms are kept clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Utilize various cleaning agents effectively to remove stains and maintain surfaces.
  • Identify and report maintenance needs or unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Operate vehicles as needed to perform cleaning duties.
  • Respond to emergencies and perform additional job-related tasks as required.
Qualifications:

Applicants should possess:

  • Prior experience in a cleaning role within an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of cleaning tools and agents, including mops, waxes, and pads.
  • Ability to recognize potential issues without necessarily solving them.
  • Physical stamina to perform continuous work, including walking, standing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Understanding of equipment care and safety precautions.
  • Capability to follow both verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • A detail-oriented mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Certification to operate motorized cleaning equipment.
