Director of Reporting Data Management

Medix's esteemed client, a leading health system, seeks a seasoned professional to spearhead their Analytics & Reporting Department. As the Director of Reporting Data Management, you will oversee a team of data engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage ELT data processes to enhance organizational analytics and reporting capabilities.
  • Lead and manage the data management team, ensuring effective leadership and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise the collection, organization, and analysis of data sources to support accurate analytics.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to identify data reporting and security needs, and implement tailored solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient data management processes for timely and accurate data availability.
  • Coordinate data-related activities between internal teams and external vendors during solution implementations.
  • Administer and manage the Tableau Reporting Portal, including overseeing upgrades, security, and licenses.
  • Ensure business requirements are met and properly integrated with vendor platforms.
  • Implement data governance policies to ensure compliance with security and reporting standards.
  • Actively contribute to organization-wide data governance initiatives and maintain data integrity.
  • Develop and document policies, procedures, and processes to ensure alignment with security protocols.
Requirements:
  • Healthcare experience, preferably in health claims, hospitals, or medical devices.
  • Understanding of insurance and medical claims functional workings.
  • Technical background, preferably in SQL development or engineering.
  • Strong usage of data and data models.
  • ETL and pipeline driving policies understanding.
  • Ability to visualize process improvements and present findings.
Nice to Haves:
  • SSIS experience.
  • Tableau proficiency.
  • 7-10+ years of total experience.
