Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Insurance Defense Associate to join our vibrant legal team.

This role offers the opportunity to engage with a wide array of insurance defense cases, providing legal guidance to our clients and representing them in both state and federal courts.

The ideal candidate will be an associate attorney with substantial experience in personal injury, bodily injury, depositions, mediations, and insurance defense.


Key Responsibilities:
As an Insurance Defense Associate, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload with moderate to high exposure and complexity.
  • Defending policyholders and the company in bodily injury and property damage litigation.
  • Overseeing personal injury claims from initiation to resolution, including trial preparation, discovery, depositions, and mediations.
  • Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and opinions.
  • Conducting and defending depositions of parties and expert witnesses.
  • Negotiating settlements on behalf of the insurance company.
  • Providing legal counsel to clients and claims professionals.
  • Participating in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Staying informed about legal developments and advising clients on changes that may impact their insurance claims.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney, ideally in insurance defense.
  • Admission to practice law in state and federal courts.
  • Demonstrated expertise in personal injury, bodily injury, depositions, mediations, and insurance defense.
  • Exceptional negotiation, research, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases effectively.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
