Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team at Jobot. As a Community Association Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing community associations in a wide range of litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent community associations, including homeowners associations (HOAs) and condominium associations, in litigation matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Advise HOA and condominium boards on legal matters and governance issues.
  • Interpret and enforce association bylaws, covenants, and restrictions.
  • Handle disputes between associations and homeowners or between homeowners.
  • Assist with collections and foreclosure actions.
  • Provide guidance on corporate governance and compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm as needed.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership and good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in community association law and litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida statutes relating to HOAs and condominiums.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of successful litigation outcomes.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with real estate law and construction defect litigation.
  • Familiarity with alternative dispute resolution methods.
  • Spanish language proficiency.
