Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for performing patient assessments and procedures related to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and procedures related to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
  • Implement therapist-driven protocols and set up and maintain respiratory-related equipment.
  • Administer medications and perform invasive procedures as needed.
  • Participate in patient, family, and multi-disciplinary education.
  • Assist with data collection and projects for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and the Respiratory Care Department process improvement plan.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program offering Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure by the State of Michigan.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • BCLS certification.
  • Ideal 1-3 years of experience in similar settings.
