Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Therapist to join our Emergency Department team at Riverside Health System. As a Therapist, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to patients and their families, including individual, family, and group therapy, assessment, and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' biopsychosocial functioning using effective interviewing skills, behavioral observation, and mental health assessment skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessed needs, incorporating evidence-based practices and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide education to families on suicidality, diagnosis, and plan of care, addressing patient/family questions and issues.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to communicate patient and family needs, integrate clinical interventions with the plan of care, and evaluate progress on objectives.
  • Document individualized, thorough medical record documentation according to Riverside Health System policy.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in a healthcare-related field, such as Social Work, Sociology, Education, Counseling, or Psychology.
  • 2 years of clinical internship experience in a hospital or residential setting or clinical experience.
  • CPR/BLS Certification, First Aid Certification, and LMHP-Resident or LMHP-Supervisee certification within 90 days.
