Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a Medical Assistant II, you will work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to provide patient care to assigned patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all aspects of the Medical Assistant I role and provide clinical support to healthcare teams.
  • Assist in providing patient care to assigned patients, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and performing administrative tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and excellent patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Washington State Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • 6 months of healthcare experience and 6 months of medical assisting experience.
