Key Responsibilities

  • Assist legal professionals and support staff in managing case files effectively.
  • Prepare and file legal documents in both state and federal courts.
  • Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel through various channels.
  • Oversee court filing correspondence and maintain organized records of filed documents.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as typing, filing, scanning, and answering department calls.
  • Coordinate schedules for court appearances, depositions, mediations, and meetings.
  • Maintain organized files and accurately log communications and time spent on cases.
  • Manage electronic case files using the firm's case management software.
  • Gather and organize client documents, both electronically and physically.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including calendar management.

  • Handle special projects as assigned by attorneys and staff.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation support is required.
  • A bachelor's or associate degree is preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to ethical practices.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn in a collaborative environment.
