Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at INDAY All Day. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our menu, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest level of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Leadership: Develop and implement menu concepts, recipes, and cooking techniques to drive culinary innovation and excellence.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and labor scheduling.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a high-performing kitchen team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and refine our menu, ensuring that it is innovative, delicious, and aligned with our brand values.
  • Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing ingredients and supplies.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control kitchen costs, including labor, inventory, and overhead expenses.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: 3-5 years of senior-level culinary management experience in a fine-casual or full-service dining environment.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques, as well as experience with menu development and execution.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Food Safety Certification: DOH Food Safety Certificate or equivalent.
