Job Summary

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a skilled Long Term Care Nurse Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with exercises and activities designed to improve their mobility and function.
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and report any changes in a resident's condition to the nursing staff.
  • Participate in restorative care programs and activities to promote resident independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • State of Vermont LNA license.
  • Licensed nursing assistant with at least 6 months of work experience as an LNA required. Long-term care or sub-acute rehab experience preferred.
  • Satisfactory completion of restorative aid training preferred. Must be willing to obtain specialized training in restorative care after employment if not already completed.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work respectfully and successfully as a member of a team.
