We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Postpartum Nurse Residency Program at ChristianaCare. As a Nurse Resident, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in maternal-child nursing.
Program OverviewOur Postpartum Nurse Residency Program is a 24-week preceptor-led clinical training program that provides you with the knowledge and skills necessary to care for new mothers and their babies. You will work closely with experienced nurses and receive comprehensive education and training in postpartum nursing, including care for newborns exposed to substance use disorder.
Responsibilities- Care for new mothers and their babies in the postpartum unit
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in educational workshops and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge
