Job Summary:

The Nurse Resident position at AtlantiCare offers a unique opportunity for senior nursing students to strengthen their knowledge and skills in the practice of nursing under the direct supervision of a registered nurse preceptor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform direct and indirect patient care functions under the direction of the RN.
  • Develop and demonstrate clinical skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

  • Senior nursing student, an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Ability to obtain current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey or current multi-state license within 60 days of graduating from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with other team members.
