Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at Brawner Builders, Inc. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of new commercial building and renovation construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Provide overall management direction to multiple projects, establish project objectives and policies, and maintain liaison with prime client contracts.
  • Construction Oversight: Monitor construction and financial activities through administrative direction of on-site construction managers.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical source of information on project plans, specifications, requests for information, and shop drawings.
  • Leadership and Communication: Nurture relationships with clients, prepare instructions and coordinate bidding processes, and review subcontractor bids for conformance, qualifications, and financial factors.
  • Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and perform regular performance evaluations for all employees assigned to this position.
  • Financial Management: Monitor job cost, information, and analysis, and prepare monthly project forecasts, cost reports, and construction billing forecasts.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and worksite rules, and maintain knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and applicable Federal and State construction regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial building project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing new construction and renovation projects.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, organizational, and written/oral communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and explain complex processes to clients and staff.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient use of Word, Excel, MS Project, and Google Docs, with experience with Viewpoint and government contracts a plus.
Work Environment
