Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Infusion Registered Nurse to join our team, offering a unique opportunity to deliver exceptional clinical and technical support in patient care.
Job Summary
- Per diem / Float RN
- Coverage for infusion suites throughout the state of Florida.
Responsibilities
Under general supervision, you will provide professional nursing care to patients, adhering to both national and company standards for specialty regulations.
Demonstrate an understanding of physiological, psychological, and developmental differences in patient populations, including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess and manage the therapeutic needs of patients and their families.Support and comply with the Intrafusion by McKesson Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics, Standard Operating Procedures, and Business Standards.
- Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of care in line with established standards and practices.
- Prepare and administer therapies under the guidance and supervision of a physician.
- Maintain a clean and organized infusion suite.
- Facilitate clinical operations and enhance patient care.
- Foster inter-professional collaboration among the Intrafusion team and practice staff.
- Engage in professional development activities and stay updated on infusion nursing practices.
Education/Training:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program, with a BSN preferred.
Current RN state license and registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or American Red Cross healthcare provider hands-on course).
Must fulfill continuing education requirements.
Experience:
A minimum of 7 years of nursing experience is required, with two or more years of infusion therapy experience preferred.
