Business Category Director, Peripheral Vascular

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Category Leader to drive the strategic commercial success of our Peripheral Vascular Business Category. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a winning business strategy, aligned with our company's priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the Peripheral Vascular Business Category, including the creation of new platforms and business model innovations.
- Lead the development of a winning business category roadmap, aligned with our company's priorities and focused on NPIs and go-to-market models.
- Support the Business Leader and Business Development Managers in the BMC planning and execution against agreed category BMC deliverables and enablers.
- Manage key elements of the Business Collaborative P&L, including controllable items, and drive category financial performance through strategic price setting and cost- and feature competitiveness.
- Accountable for key cost and quality metrics of the Business Category and aligning respective functions, including Finance, ISC, Quality & Regulatory, Procurement, etc.
- Lead the Business Category team of Product Managers, Solution/Proposition Development Managers, and Category Projects/Program Managers, ensuring the right talent in the team.
- Lead the creation of Business Category Value Propositions based on deep consumer insights and validate through consumer/customer testing frameworks, ensuring consistency throughout all deliverables.
- Accountable for the end-to-end success of NPIs as per the VPC & PDLM process, including concept feasibility testing, market development, launch readiness, execution, and market adoption in partnership with Business Development Managers and key markets.
- Drive consumer/customer preference and satisfaction through the integration of feedback into innovation roadmaps, improvement activities, and quality improvement initiatives.
- 15+ years of experience in senior business management roles in med tech/med device companies.
- 10+ years of experience leading cross-functional matrixed teams.
- Strong entrepreneurial skills, energy, and excellence in execution.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
- An execution-focused individual who can project manage and own processes with rigor in execution and drive for excellence.
- A team player with a track record of working collaboratively to manage cross-functional, cross-business issues and generate impact and results through others.
- Analytical data-driven and problem-solving skills.
- Approximately 15% of travel required.
