Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at Pactiv Evergreen - North America. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and review work orders from production departments, ensuring that all necessary information is complete and accurate.
  • Screen and prioritize work orders based on urgency and business needs, ensuring that critical tasks are completed on time.
  • Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and engineers to develop and implement maintenance plans, ensuring that all necessary resources are allocated and that work is completed efficiently.
  • Coordinate with production planning departments to ensure that maintenance activities do not conflict with production schedules.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with production departments, ensuring that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial technology) preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance planning or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with production departments and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and other relevant tools.
