Job Summary

At AHMC Healthcare, we are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner I to join our team. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and providing exceptional service to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver all types of respiratory modalities to patients as established by the department's standard operating procedures.
  • Provide patient care duties, including but not limited to, oxygen administration, chest physiotherapy, aerosol administration, and mechanical ventilator management.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct routine assessments and evaluations to ensure patient safety and well-being.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of California.
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy Technician program and credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Minimum two years of experience in respiratory care, including clinical experience.
  • Current CPR, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
