Columbia River Mental Health Services is seeking a skilled Clinical Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient flow, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Greets clients and visitors, directs them to the appropriate staff member, and ensures a warm and welcoming environment.
- Manages patient scheduling, collects co-pays and insurance information, and verifies client personal data.
- Coordinates and collects necessary information/documentation to facilitate treatment, schedules appointments for providers and clinicians, and assists with correspondence, faxing, and copying.
- Maintains tracking reports, petty cash, and necessary computer and hard copy files.
- Communicates site maintenance needs to the Facilities Coordinator and enters deadline-sensitive data into the computer information system in a timely manner.
- Assists the Intake Coordinator with screening and data entry as needed and cross-trains to alternate duties to cover inter-departmental and program needs.
- Works closely with compliance to ensure all compliance functions within the agency are being properly executed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous reception experience or specialized training preferred.
- Experience with co-pays and insurance billing a plus.
- Strong customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills, automated appointment scheduling, and word processing experience a plus.
