Job Overview

Alluvionic is in search of a Program Analyst I to fulfill the role of an Environmental, Safety, and Health Specialist for the United States Marshals Service (USMS) across all facilities and personnel nationwide.

Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Security Clearance: Candidates must complete a Public Trust Background Investigation (BI).

Position Type: This is an ON-SITE role.

Compensation: Salary range is $55,000 - $60,000.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Assistant Chief in managing USMS Environmental, Occupational Safety, and Health programs, including areas such as asbestos, noise, lead, bloodborne pathogens (BBP), OSHA compliance, and hazard communication.
  • Provide technical safety and health guidance to USMS leadership, project managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure the availability of necessary equipment.
  • Assist in revising policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to environmental and safety management.
  • Document meeting minutes and assist in data collection, assessments, inspections, and environmental reporting.
  • Support the management of occupational injury and illness data, including OSHA recordkeeping.
  • Contribute to data collection and reporting for the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) and OSHA.
  • Research and recommend measures for mitigating hazards to USMS employees.
  • Promote safety awareness through educational activities and training sessions.
  • Coordinate the national Automated External Defibrillator and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Program (AED/CPR), including training and record maintenance.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, or a related field with at least 24 semester hours in relevant disciplines.
  • OSHA Level 10 certification is mandatory; OSHA Level 30 certification is preferred.
  • AED/CPR certification is required.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adapt to changing environments.

  • Experience in government roles is advantageous.
