Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Policy Specialist to join our team at the Department of the Army. As an Environmental Policy Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing environmental policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure that environmental programs are implemented in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze environmental data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement plans to address environmental concerns and improve program effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that environmental policies and procedures are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, policy, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in environmental policy development and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
