Commercial Construction Project Engineer

Responsibilities:- Assist in the day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge of the industry.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and workmanship meet HITT's high standards.
- Assist in the implementation of HITT's Corporate Safety Program, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
- High school diploma required; military experience or four-year degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or Business preferred.
- Previous experience on commercial job sites a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to learn sector- and project-specific software systems.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods, lift up to 50lbs, and adapt to changing project requirements.
