Immediate Opening for FNP Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhances and sustains patient wellness by delivering medical services under a physician's oversight.
- Boosts a physician's productivity by pinpointing immediate and long-term patient care challenges.
- Suggests alternatives and treatment pathways for patient care.
- Executes physician directives effectively.
- Evaluates patient health through interviews and comprehensive physical assessments, including gathering, updating, and analyzing medical histories.
- Identifies abnormal conditions by conducting or ordering diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and lab studies, and interpreting the results.
- Records patient care activities by documenting in patient and departmental records.
- Administers therapeutic procedures including injections, immunizations, suturing, and managing wounds and infections.
- Educates and supports patients by providing information on normal growth and development and addressing emotional challenges of daily living.
- Fosters a community of care by designing and implementing patient management strategies.
- Ensures a safe and sanitary working environment by adhering to established procedures, regulations, and guidelines.
- Safeguards patients and staff by following infection control policies and protocols. Complies with legal and professional standards by reviewing current and new legislation, anticipating future changes, enforcing compliance, and advising management on necessary actions.
- Enhances professional and technical knowledge by participating in educational workshops, reviewing professional literature, building personal networks, and engaging in professional organizations.
- Develops healthcare team members by providing information, educational opportunities, and growth experiences.
Work Schedule: 10 AM-7 PM, Monday to Friday
Required Skills and Qualifications for Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner:

Education and Experience Requirements for Physician Assistant:
- Current license/registration to practice is mandatory
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Capability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Master's Degree in Nursing or a Bachelor's/Master's in Physician Assistant Studies, Health Science, or Medical Science.
