We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitor Specialist to join our Telemetry Services team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cardiac monitor for arrhythmias and changes in rhythm.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze rhythm and calculate cardiac measurements to identify changes and report them accurately.
- Enter accurate patient information into the telemetry monitor system and discharge patients as directed by the RN.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Completion of a Medical Assisting, CNA, or related technical education course, or hospital-based telemetry technician experience.
- Preferred: At least one year of telemetry/monitoring work experience and certified completion of ECG or telemetry course including Rhythm/Arrhythmia identification.
