Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Integration Project Manager to join our team at Merrill Technologies Group. As an Integration Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing internal and external assembly and integration activities in coordination with the manufacturing and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop manufacturing methods and processes, write operation sheets for products or tools, and troubleshoot manufacturing problems.
  • Investigate, establish, and implement requirements for equipment, tooling, materials, or methods of manufacturing.
  • Attend kick-off meetings and coordinate with APEX during the planning and launch phase of new integration projects.
  • Develop execution budgets and be accountable for successful completion to planned budgets.
  • Manage and communicate resource needs on a project basis.
  • Hold/attend key informational and follow-up meetings to keep all projects on time and within the planned budget.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Six or more years of experience in integration and design, product launch, supplier development, inspection, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to develop manufacturing plans and utilize PFMEA, PPAP, APQP, lean manufacturing, or similar.
  • Proven cost reduction and quality improvement experience.
  • Necessary professional skills include fixture design, product gauge design, cycle time reduction, manufacturing statistics, metallurgy, casting process, material removal process, inspection, and quality.
  • Familiarity with tooling selection, root cause analysis, manufacturing trouble shooting and preventative maintenance, cycle time and manufacturing efficiency calculations, and supplier development.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
  • Strong communication skills, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, confidence, motivation, trustworthiness, and a team player.
