As Total Fire Protection continues to grow, we are excited to offer a challenging opportunity for a dedicated Life Safety Systems Solutions Engineer to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for effectively representing the company in the promotion and sale of Fire Safety/Fire Alarm Systems to contractor clients and end users within designated territories and accounts.
Key Responsibilities:

- Comprehend Total Fire Protection's strategic direction, business objectives, and growth initiatives.
- As a Solutions Engineer, you will initiate contact with potential clients, qualify leads, and schedule sales meetings while leveraging TFP marketing strategies.
- Formulate a sales strategy to enhance customer understanding of our product offerings, prioritize opportunities, and maintain accurate territory records.
- Conduct seminars, demonstrations, and other events to generate, develop, and qualify leads for prospective clients.
- Prepare financial justifications, proposals, and presentations, and perform essential follow-ups to successfully close sales.
- Collaborate effectively with district operations to enhance service delivery.
- Achieve sales targets within an assigned quota.
- Maintain established accounts as an Account Representative through regular client engagement and follow-up on sales.
- Provide progress reports and metrics to operational and corporate teams on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Participate in trade shows, product demonstrations, and other events aimed at increasing sales and enhancing the company's reputation.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Service Manager and/or Director of Service Operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Highly driven and motivated to succeed.
- Strong self-discipline and self-motivation.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in oral and written communication, with effective sales techniques.
- Adept at quickly identifying and qualifying opportunities.
- Skilled in persuasion and closing sales.
- Ability to obtain necessary licenses as mandated by national, state, and local regulations.
- A minimum of two years of successful sales experience in Electronic Systems or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or engineering is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working with electrical contractors and the ability to interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams is advantageous.
- Familiarity with computer applications (Microsoft and Oracle programs preferred).
