Maintenance Planner Controller

Overview:
The Maintenance Planner Controller plays a pivotal role in the management of asset and equipment maintenance systems, ensuring the smooth operation of Krier Foods' production capabilities. This position is responsible for generating routine and planned maintenance schedules, coordinating resources, and supporting maintenance teams in executing planned maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain accurate maintenance schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and minimizing downtime.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate with maintenance teams to allocate resources effectively, ensuring the right personnel are assigned to the right tasks.
- Maintenance Support: Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance teams, facilitating the execution of planned maintenance activities.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve maintenance-related issues, applying problem-solving techniques to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze maintenance reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement to optimize maintenance operations.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: A minimum of a 4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical experience in a maintenance/planning role, with prior experience in continuous process manufacturing operations management preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with knowledge of maintenance planning systems and tools.
- Business Acumen: Strong business management skills, including budget development and management, cost savings development, and effective communication and collaboration with other departments.
Work Environment:
- Office and manufacturing plant working environment.
- The noise level in the office is moderate. While in the plant, hearing protection is required.
- When located in the plant, the environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), moderate cold and hot temperature (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to raw food ingredients (including allergens) and chemicals.
