The Infrastructure Solutions Engineer is responsible for the strategic planning and design of systems infrastructure, encompassing both hardware and software implementation. This role involves analyzing, developing, modifying, and maintaining systems while diagnosing issues and proposing enhancements for both existing and new systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, deploy, and maintain systems, servers, and storage solutions.
  • Proactively enhance reliability, stability, and security of systems.
  • Provide support for existing applications and projects by addressing incidents, problems, and service requests.
  • Adhere to the Bank's control processes and IT guidelines.
  • Install operating system software, patches, and upgrades.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues, coordinating with third-party vendors as necessary for swift problem resolution.
  • Optimize, fine-tune, and monitor operating system software, servers, storage, virtualization software, and network devices.
  • Design the integration of cloud applications and infrastructure services into current IT systems.
  • Ensure that infrastructure and cloud services align with IT roadmaps, assessing potential impacts on Bank services and architecture.
  • Conduct system backups and recovery operations.
  • Secure systems to comply with corporate standards and best practices.
  • Engage in root cause analysis for service interruption recovery and recommend preventive measures.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of disaster recovery processes and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of infrastructure configuration, documentation, processes, standards, and procedures.
  • Research and recommend new technologies to fulfill the Bank's business objectives.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to the position while complying with Bank policies and procedures.
  • Oversee departmental internal controls and regulatory matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a corporate environment with AS400, Windows, or UNIX servers, storage area networks, and/or network firewalls, switches, load balancers, and other network equipment.
  • Experience in Microsoft 365 Engineering and Administration within an Enterprise environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint; both on-premises and hosted.
  • Extensive experience as a Windows Server Administrator.
  • Experience with VMware products in an Enterprise setting.
  • Proficient in engineering and administering VMware VCenter: ESX, SRM, NSX-T, and VROPS.
  • Experience in engineering and administering enterprise backup/restore, email servers, web servers, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and/or other enterprise applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills that foster effective collaboration in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages, particularly Windows PowerShell, is preferred.
  • Ability to engage positively, self-motivate, and demonstrate a strong desire to learn.
  • Capability to complete tasks within established project and budgetary constraints.

Compensation Range:

Annual Salary: $105,000 - $117,000

This salary range reflects the Bank's good faith and reasonable estimate of potential compensation at the time of hire. The final offer will be determined based on the selected applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This role is also eligible for participation in the Bank's annual incentive plan.

Most roles qualify for our hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. We match 100% of the first 6% contributed to your 401(k) and provide an additional 4% non-discretionary contribution to your 401(k) at the end of the year.
