Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and process various accounting forms and reports, including journal entries and cash receipts.
2. Collaborate in the accurate processing of income, expenses, and transfers, while generating monthly financial reports from the general ledger.
3. Support the preparation of financial reports for donors and management, including budget analysis and forecasting.
4. Conduct research and analysis for Private Awards mechanisms, ensuring compliance with financial standards.
5. Review and analyze invoices, expense reports, and transaction data for conservation teams.
6. Assist in managing multi-year private grants, including proposal budgets and monitoring.
7. Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures while providing support in relevant financial fields.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in GAAP and fund accounting principles.
- Experience with automated accounting systems and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
