Job Title: Licensed Behavioral Health Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Edmond Public Schools. As a key member of our mental health support team, you will work closely with students, staff, and parents to provide emotional support, guidance, and counseling services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide direct services to at-risk students addressing mental/behavioral health, trauma, grief, suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention.
* Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and counselors to develop and implement student-centered mental health support plans.
* Develop and maintain relationships with community resources to ensure comprehensive support for students and families.

Requirements:

* Master's degree in counseling or related field required.
* Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) preferred.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
