Job Summary:

Mid Michigan Leadership Academy is seeking a highly skilled MTSS Testing Coordinator to oversee and implement the Multi-Tiered System of Supports framework and coordinate all student assessments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, teaching certification, and experience with MTSS implementation and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage the MTSS framework, including academic and behavioral interventions.
Collaborate with teachers to design and implement Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 interventions.
Monitor the progress of students receiving interventions and adjust plans as needed.
Provide professional development and training to staff on MTSS practices and strategies.
Facilitate MTSS meetings and maintain accurate documentation of intervention plans and student progress.

Testing Coordination:

Plan and coordinate all standardized testing (e.g., state assessments, benchmark assessments) and other school-wide assessments.
Ensure compliance with all testing regulations and guidelines.
Prepare and distribute testing schedules, materials, and instructions to staff and students.
Train staff on proper test administration procedures and protocols.
Analyze and interpret test data to inform instructional practices and interventions.
Report testing results to stakeholders, including staff, administration, and parents.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Valid teaching certification in the state of Michigan.
Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a K-8 setting.
Experience with MTSS implementation and coordination.
Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and requirements.
Strong data analysis skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position with standard school hours
Work is primarily performed in a school setting with students, teachers, and administrators.
