Position Overview

The engineer will be involved in circuit-level simulations and modifications to improve legacy products. Additionally, hands-on troubleshooting of production and field failures will be a key part of this position, requiring thorough root cause analysis and the implementation of effective corrective measures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct circuit-level simulations and design alterations to resolve issues with existing products.
  • Engage in hands-on troubleshooting of production failures, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance product reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and documentation of engineering changes.
  • Prepare and manage engineering documentation, including Engineering Change Requests/Orders (ECR/ECO) and Bill of Materials (BOM) for hardware designs.
  • Develop and generate engineering test documentation such as Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) procedures and reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, etc.).
  • Experience in hardware schematic design and circuit-level simulation.
  • Proven ability in hardware component redesign and replacement.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with a focus on teamwork.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting tools such as Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and Multimeters.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $135,000.
