Job Title:
Field Engineer - Electronics

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer - Electronics to provide comprehensive engineering services to internal and external customers in factory and field environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level engineering services to customers, including installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex electronic equipment and systems.
  • Work on high-powered electronic equipment in industrial environments, aboard ships, and commercial facilities.
  • Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance, and assist in the removal, modernization, and installation of customer equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment down to component board level and document all test findings and status.
  • Collaborate with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
  • Assist with proper preparation prior to responding to field efforts, including travel requests, security information, and checking of test records.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field, and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation drawings.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience documenting all test findings, status, and initiating procedure changes as required by company procedures.
  • Possess and maintain a valid US Passport.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Nuclear Navy principles and regulations, project management knowledge, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
