The Speech and Language Pathologist role is a critical component of the educational team, responsible for identifying students with communication disorders and developing effective treatment plans to minimize their impact on student success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret medical reports and recommendations to inform treatment plans and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.">

Requirements

A valid Georgia professional certification in speech-language pathology is required for this role. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Working Conditions

This position requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling, and significant fine finger dexterity. The job involves approximately 20% sitting, 40% walking, and 40% standing.

Estimated Salary

$54,000 - $63,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
