Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Hospitalist Physician to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Hospitalist Physician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to hospitalized patients, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and monitor the medical needs of patients/significant others.
- Provide quality medical services to patients in a cost-effective, appropriate manner and ensure coverage of case load at all times.
- Participate in ongoing process improvement activities through the development/application of clinical paths, process improvement and other related activities.
- Evaluate patients'/significant others'/staff educational needs and develop and implement appropriate teaching strategies or delegates to appropriate resources.
- Communicate with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Acts as a patient/family advocate.
- License - Michigan MD/DO
- BE/BC Internal Medicine Residency or Family Medicine Residency (with demonstrated strong inpatient experience)
- Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certification - Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
