Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Corewell Health Zeeland Hospital. As a Hospitalist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Responsibilities- Assess and monitor the medical needs of patients/significant others.
- Provide quality medical services to patients in a cost-effective, appropriate manner and ensure coverage of case load at all times.
- Provide input into the development of policies and procedures as they related to medical practice and quality patient care.
- Evaluate patients'/significant others'/staff educational needs and develop and implement appropriate teaching strategies or delegates to appropriate resources.
- Communicate with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services.
- License - Michigan MD/DO
- BE/BC Internal Medicine Residency or Family Medicine Residency (with demonstrated strong inpatient experience)
- Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certification - Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
