Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough counts of physical inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory management processes.
  • Maintain precise records of materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies, facilitating effective stock management.
  • Analyze discrepancies between physical counts and office records, providing insights for improvement.
  • Monitor inventory turnover and suggest enhancements to optimize stock levels.
  • Generate detailed reports on inventory status, including weekly counts and production metrics.
  • Identify and recommend actions for depleted or defective items.
  • Collaborate with auditors to review daily inventory reports and address any issues.
  • Uphold company standards for inventory shrinkage.
  • Understand the broader business operations and their impact on inventory integrity.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support warehouse operations.

Compensation and Schedule:

  • Starting pay is $20.50 per hour, with potential increases based on experience.
  • Work schedule is Sunday to Thursday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year of inventory experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong commitment to customer service and effective communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to established procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  • Ability to perform inventory tasks and apply mathematical skills accurately.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry items up to 65 lbs.
  • Familiarity with operating scissor lifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Willingness to work in various temperature conditions, including freezers.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
