Position Summary
As an Infant Toddler Teacher at Learn and Play Montessori School, you will embody warmth, patience, and understanding in your daily interactions with children. Our Montessori + STEMTM curriculum is designed to support social, physical, verbal, and cognitive growth, encouraging children to become lifelong learners. Our educators play a vital role in the success of our school by building meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a safe and nurturing atmosphere conducive to learning and play.
- Collaborate with parents to ensure optimal care and education for their children.
- Work alongside center staff and leadership to meet objectives related to enrollment, accreditation, and community engagement.
- Foster positive connections with families, educators, regulatory authorities, community partners, and corporate affiliates.
- Deliver the Montessori + STEMTM curriculum tailored to the individual needs of each child.

Qualifications Required:
- Completion of 12 core Early Childhood Education (ECE) units focused on Infant/Toddler development.
- Flexibility to work from 9 am to 6 pm based on campus needs.
- Willingness to assist with diaper changes and potty training as appropriate.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or readiness to obtain.
- Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
- Physical capability to use a computer and perform basic tasks.
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to engage with children at their level physically and visually.
- Proficient in reading, writing, understanding, and speaking English for effective communication with children and families.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this role include frequent standing, talking, hearing, and occasionally walking or sitting on the floor, depending on the children's age. The position may require lifting or pushing items up to 50 lbs and engaging in various physical activities to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
