Job Summary

The Registered Nurse NICU III PRN is a key member of our team at Rose Medical Center, providing exceptional care to patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This role requires a high level of expertise and compassion, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns and their families, utilizing evidence-based practices and protocols to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and implement interventions to prevent or mitigate adverse events.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and address any concerns or questions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Current NRP certification through AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics)
  • Registered Nurse, Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license
  • Associate Degree, Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN is desirable
