Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse NICU II to join our team at Rocky Mountain Children's. As a key member of our neonatal care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our premature and critically ill newborn patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to neonates in the NICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Oversee and direct the care of assistive personnel, ensuring high-quality patient care and maintaining accountability for assigned patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Neonate Resuscitation certification within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado or active multistate licensure.
  • Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
