Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse NICU IV to join our team at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children. As a NICU IV RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill, premature, and newborn patients. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure well-coordinated patient care and provide leadership to assistive personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill, premature, and newborn patients in the NICU IV unit.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor and assess patient condition, identifying and reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding patient care and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
  • Neonate Resuscitate certification within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse Diploma, Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
