As a dedicated Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant on our team, your role will involve supporting clients in achieving or maintaining peak physical health through the provision of treatments, assessments, client education, and suitable interventions as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Our Rehabilitation Therapy Assistants provide exceptional support to every client.

  • Conduct home visits to clients within assigned regions.
  • Assist clients in achieving or maintaining optimal physical health through treatments, assessments, client education, and appropriate interventions as instructed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Formulate and execute tailored care plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and other interventions.
  • Continuously evaluate and update the Physical Therapy care plan.
  • Instruct clients, family members, or other representatives in rehabilitative care and activities essential for promoting health, safety, and independent living.
  • Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to client care management.

Qualifications for a BAYADA Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant:

  • A valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the relevant state
  • Graduation from an accredited two-year college program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association, or
  • Two years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant with a satisfactory proficiency exam score if qualified before a specific date
  • A minimum of one year of recent experience under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Proficient computer skills; experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred
